Acorn Pond

A peaceful, tranquil setting with carp to 20lbs, crucians to 3lb 10oz, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Skimmers, Perch and Chub. Inside pole lines and 8-10 metres out are a good option for most species with pellet, paste, caster and meat the favourites. Bomb out into open water or across to the island also catches plenty of fish. Through the summer months floating baits work well. With 20 pegs this is a great pleasure pond or match lake for small clubs producing more 100lb weights than the other lakes. Current lake record 132 lb 10oz.
